Who We Are

About BrickDreams

A child’s dream is to play with bricks forever. A brick’s dream is to be played with forever. Our mission is to make both dreams come true.

BrickDreams is a charity that changes lives. We collect, clean, and redistribute LEGO bricks to children in need. Any and all LEGO is appreciated. We were founded on May 7, 2012.

One might ask, “Why LEGO bricks? Why not other toys?” It is because LEGO stimulates the mind. They allow children to learn, and use their imagination. It is possibly the only toy where a child of any age can build a car, then take it apart and build an airplane, a house, or whatever their imagination desires. Who wouldn’t want that for a kid?

Lleyton Rutz
My name is Lleyton Rutz and I am 18 years old.  Together with my twin brother, I lead BrickDreams.   I believe in BrickDream’s mission and I like the opportunity it gives me to communicate with adults and do good things for other kids. Its challenged me to develop strong leadership skills and learn how to get work done with others.
Kyle Rutz
My name is Kyle Rutz and I am 18 years old.  There is a lot of responsibilities as the co-leader of BrickDreams and I always look forward to taking them on. I enjoy planning the sorting events and donation drives we have with volunteer organizations. It’s incredible how much we’ve accomplished in the last three years.

Bailey Snow
My name is Bailey Snow, and I founded BrickDreams when I was 14 years
old. I grew up with the joy of playing with LEGO, and I wanted to be
able to share it with those who did not have the opportunity. When I
graduated high school, I was happy to pass on BrickDreams to Lleyton
and Kyle, and I am so proud of how much they have grown it.
